The Victorian Government is supporting 1000 high growth potential businesses to access new markets and create jobs through Ready for Growth.

Ready for Growth will provide businesses with tailored support from expert advisers to develop a plan to maximise their growth, find grants and programs across Victorian and Commonwealth governments, improve connections through networks and other program alumni.

Expressions of interest are now open.

Learn more at Ready for Growth or contact the Business Victoria Hotline at 13 22 15.

West Vic Business attended one of the sixteen Jobs Victoria Local Jobs Forums. It was wonderful for us to join and hear from local employers, community leaders, jobseekers, and employment and training service providers about the employment challenges and opportunities across our area of Victoria.

Please download the Jobs Victoria ‘Snapshot’ of the Forums that provides a summary of the key themes, ideas and opportunities that emerged from the Forums. The Forums are an important first step in designing effective, relevant, local employment solutions.

We really valued participating, contributing and being part of the almost fifteen hundred people who attended the Forums.

Green Lake

Consider the possibilities

On RU OK Day, West Vic Business along with key stakeholders, released its conceptual plan for the Green Lake Yacht Club & Precinct.

West Vic Business are committed to helping drive place making processes and precinct development to assist in the long term sustainability of our business communities through tourism, social and recreational developments.

The proposed future development of the lake precinct, includes a multi purpose venue that encompasses a proposed cafe, and safe space for the local business networking.

West Vic Business would like to extend their gratitude to Business Victoria and the Department of Jobs Precincts & Regions Wellbeing Team for the funding provided through the Mental Wellbeing for Business Grant.  This funding, along with the extensive training and coaching provided as part of this program, has provided invaluable information and education, in addition to opening up many incredible networks.
